HARVEST MOON Estate Sparkling Zinfandel Rosé

WINEMAKER: Randy Pitts, a grape grower and winemaker on the family vineyard for decades. He calls himself a 'wine shepherd." We call him just plain awesome.
WHAT WE TASTED: Fresh tart strawberry, juicy cranberry and floral notes. Dry wine with just a slight touch of sweetness. Lighter than most sparkling zinfandel wines since the skins were removed earlier in the process.
AVA DESIGNATED: Russian River AVA, Sonoma County

- Duck Breast with a berry sauce
- Peach Sorbet
PERSONALITY: The grapes were cold and pressed off the skins very gently, so the wine is more of an opaque color. This sparkling wine will last several years in the cellar.
